In a joint effort with KPMG Angola, Plural Editores has just published the Angolan Code of Civil Law, a book that contains several complementary legislations. This is the second of a series of books on Angolan law, which started with the Angolan Republic Constitution. This series will fill a gap in the national editorial scene.
This second title – which is yet the text of the Portuguese 1966 Code of Civil Law, which is still in force under the constitutional principle that accepts the Law that was applicable before the independence of the country – makes also available several other acts on different subjects and their respective regulations. Furthermore, we would also point out the inclusion in this book of other acts that do not exclusively regulate civil matter, but that introduce modifications to some principles that mould the Code of Civil Law system.
